Outdated standardWithdrawn German standard for clevis pins without head, form B, with a cross drilled split pin hole near each end: the ISO 2340 type B pin with its own row of nominal lengths. The 1974 edition took over the dimensions of ISO 2340:1972 and was replaced by DIN EN 22340:1992-10, the German adoption of ISO 2340. Both holes lie in one plane, each with its axis at the distance le from its end of the pin, and the hole diameter d1 equals the nominal size of the split pin. The shank tolerance h11, the 30 degree chamfer c on both ends and the holes are those of ISO 2340 type B, so only the row of nominal lengths tells the two apart: DIN 1443 keeps 25, 105, 110, 115, 125, 130, 150, 170 and 190 mm and knows no 24, 26 and 32 mm. Covers nominal diameters from 3 to 100 mm with lengths from about twice to ten times the diameter, up to 200 mm.
