DIN 6796 - Conical spring washers for bolted connections
Conical spring washers clamped together with the bolt in bolted joints of property classes 8.8 to 10.9: the cone keeps the joint preloaded when the clamped parts settle. They do not secure the joint against self-loosening under transverse loads and suit mainly short, axially loaded bolts. DIN 6796:2009-08 covers nominal sizes 2 to 30 for threads M2 to M30, in spring steel FSt or, by agreement, austenitic stainless steel. h max is the height as delivered; h min is the minimum height after the DIN 267-26 setting test.
