Ακέφαλες βίδες με εσωτερικό εξάγωνο και κόλουρη κωνική μύτη, το πρότυπο ISO που αντικατέστησε το DIN 914· οι εκδόσεις με επίπεδη μύτη, κυλινδρική μύτη και μύτη κύπελλου είναι τα ISO 4026, ISO 4028 και ISO 4029. Η βίδα χωρίς κεφαλή συγκρατεί πλήμνη, δακτύλιο, γρανάζι ή μοχλό πάνω σε άξονα: η κωνική μύτη μπήγεται στον άξονα ή σε μια εσοχή διανοιγμένη γι' αυτήν και εμποδίζει το εξάρτημα να περιστρέφεται και να ολισθαίνει. Η βίδα είναι σπειρωμένη σε όλο της το μήκος και περιστρέφεται με εξαγωνικό κλειδί στην υποδοχή του επίπεδου άκρου της, ώστε βυθίζεται ολόκληρη στην οπή της και τίποτα δεν προεξέχει. Η μύτη είναι κώνος 90 μοιρών με μικρή επίπεδη επιφάνεια στην κορυφή· στις κοντές βίδες, έως ένα μήκος που εξαρτάται από το μέγεθος, ο κώνος και η λοξοτόμηση στο άκρο της υποδοχής είναι 120 μοιρών και η υποδοχή είναι ρηχότερη. Οι χαλύβδινες βίδες κατασκευάζονται σε κλάση σκληρότητας 45H και οι βίδες από ανοξείδωτο χάλυβα στις κλάσεις A1-12H, A2-21H, A3-21H, A4-21H και A5-21H· το σπείρωμα είναι μετρικό ISO χονδρού βήματος με ανοχή 6g και η κλάση προϊόντος είναι A. Καλύπτει σπειρώματα από M1,6 έως M24 με μήκη από 2 έως 60 mm.
