Tuercas hexagonales altas, estilo 2: la tuerca ISO 4032 con el mismo hexágono pero mayor altura, lo que aumenta el agarre de la rosca y la resistencia al barrido. Grado A para roscas hasta M16 inclusive y grado B por encima. Cubre el paso grueso métrico de M5 a M39 e incluye tanto las roscas preferentes como las no preferentes M7, M14, M18, M22, M27, M33 y M39. La versión de paso fino es la ISO 8674.
