Kaiščiai be galvutės, A tipas, be B tipo vielokaiščio skylių; formos kaip cilindrinis kaištis ISO 2338, tačiau tai ašinis kaištis su h11, o ne m6 ar h8 tolerancija. Kaištis yra lygus cilindras, tarnaujantis kaip ašis šakutėse ir koto galų akyse, ir fiksuojamas kitu būdu nei vielokaiščiu, pavyzdžiui, fiksavimo žiedais fiksavimui išdirbtuose grioveliuose. Strypo tolerancija yra h11, abu galai turi 30 laipsnių nuožulą c; kaiščiai gaminami iš automatinio plieno, kurio kietumas nuo 125 HV iki 245 HV. Apima vardinius skersmenis nuo 3 iki 100 mm, ilgius maždaug nuo dviejų iki dešimties skersmenų, bet ne daugiau kaip 200 mm. Kaištis su galvute yra ISO 2341.
