Bolter uten hode, type B: type A-bolten med et tverrboret splinthull nær hver ende, slik at en splint på hvilken som helst side holder den i gaffelen. Hullene er for splinter etter ISO 1234, og derfor er hulldiameteren d1 lik splintens nominelle størrelse; begge hullene ligger i samme plan, hvert i avstanden le fra sin ende av bolten. Skafttoleransen h11, fasen c på 30 grader i begge ender og automatstålet med hardhet 125 HV til 245 HV er de samme som for type A. Omfatter nominelle diametre fra 3 til 100 mm med lengder fra omtrent to til ti ganger diameteren, høyst 200 mm. Bolten med hode og ett splinthull er ISO 2341 type B.
