Bolter med glatt sylindrisk hode, type A, uten splinthullet i type B; bolten uten hode er ISO 2340 A. De sikres på annen måte enn med splint, for eksempel med en låsering i et spor som er maskinert for sikring, med en skrue eller med et påsveiset anlegg. Skaftet har toleranse h11 og ender i en fas på 30 grader; hodet er faset 45 grader, og en radius under hodet er tillatt. Omfatter nominelle diametre fra 3 til 100 mm med lengder fra omtrent to til ti ganger diameteren, høyst 200 mm.
