全螺纹米制螺柱通过两端的螺母连接零件，也可旋入螺纹孔。DIN 976-1:2016规定了钢、不锈钢和有色金属螺柱的尺寸与交货条件，涵盖M2至M72的粗牙和细牙螺纹。A型采用滚制原状端部RL；B型采用符合ISO 4753的倒角端部CH。
