Hohe Sechskantmuttern, Typ 2, mit metrischem Feingewinde: die Mutter ISO 4033 mit gleichem Sechskant und gleicher Höhe, nur das Gewinde ist anders. Produktklasse A für Gewinde bis einschließlich M16 und Produktklasse B darüber. Die größere Höhe gegenüber der normalen Mutter ISO 8673 bietet mehr Gewindeeingriff und eine bessere Widerstandsfähigkeit gegen Überdrehen, weshalb bei Feingewinden Typ 2 bevorzugt wird. Umfasst M8 bis M39 und enthält sowohl die bevorzugten als auch die nicht bevorzugten Gewinde.
