Zastarjeli standard

Povučene njemačke šesterokutne niske samokočne matice s nemetalnim umetkom, niski oblik uz visoku DIN 982: za razliku od ISO 10511, koja ih je zamijenila, zadržavaju otvore ključa DIN 934 za M10, M12, M14 i M22 (17, 19, 22 i 32 mm umjesto 16, 18, 21 i 34 mm), imaju više čelično tijelo i kod većine veličina veću ukupnu visinu. Razred proizvoda A za navoje do M16 uključivo i razred proizvoda B iznad. Navoj nosi čelično tijelo, a nemetalni umetak, primjerice od poliamida, drži se u uvaljanom ovratniku iznad njega. Od M5 ukupna je visina približno jednaka promjeru navoja. Gotovi se dijelovi i dalje često isporučuju prema ovoj starijoj specifikaciji. Obuhvaća metrički grubi korak od M3 do M48 i navoje finog koraka od M8x1 do M48x3.
