Pasenęs standartasŽemos šešiakampės veržlės be nuožulų, A forma, pagal panaikintą DIN 439-1:1987-10, B gaminio klasė. DIN M10 išlaiko 17 mm atstumą tarp plokštumų, kitaip nei ISO 4036; DIN 439-2 su nuožulomis yra atskiras standartas.
