Sekskantmuttere, type 1, med metrisk fingjenge: ISO 4032-mutteren med samme sekskant og høyde, bare gjengen er forskjellig. Produktklasse A for gjenger til og med M16 og produktklasse B over. Fordi den reduserte gjengehøyden øker faren for overdreiing, foretrekkes høye muttere (type 2) etter ISO 8674. Dekker M8 til M64 og omfatter både de foretrukne og de ikke-foretrukne gjengene.
