Piulițe hexagonale joase, stilul 0, teșite: hexagonul ISO 4032 la aproximativ jumătate din înălțime, pentru contrapiulițe și îmbinări cu spațiu axial limitat. Grad A pentru filete până la M16 inclusiv și grad B peste. Deoarece înălțimea redusă micșorează sarcina pe care piulița o poate prelua, piulițele joase nu sunt clasificate pentru rezistența deplină. Înlocuitor actual al DIN 439. Varianta neteșită este ISO 4036, iar cea cu pas fin ISO 8675. Acoperă pasul normal metric de la M1.6 la M64 și include atât filetele preferate, cât și cele nepreferate M3.5, M14, M18, M22, M27, M33, M39, M45, M52 și M60.
