Zastaraná norma

Zrušené nemecké nízke šesťhranné samoistiace matice s nekovovou vložkou, nízke vyhotovenie popri vysokej DIN 982: na rozdiel od ISO 10511, ktorá ich nahradila, si zachovávajú veľkosti kľúča DIN 934 pri M10, M12, M14 a M22 (17, 19, 22 a 32 mm namiesto 16, 18, 21 a 34 mm), majú vyššie oceľové teleso a pri väčšine veľkostí väčšiu celkovú výšku. Trieda výrobku A pre závity do M16 vrátane a trieda výrobku B nad. Závit nesie oceľové teleso a nekovová vložka, napríklad polyamidová, je držaná v zalisovanom golieri nad ním. Od M5 je celková výška približne rovná priemeru závitu. Bežne dostupné diely sa stále často dodávajú podľa tejto staršej špecifikácie. Zahŕňa metrický hrubý závit od M3 do M48 a závity s jemným stúpaním od M8x1 do M48x3.
