Sexkantmuttrar, typ 1, med metrisk fingänga: ISO 4032-muttern med samma sexkant och höjd, endast gängan skiljer sig. Produktklass A för gängor till och med M16 och produktklass B däröver. Eftersom den minskade gänghöjden ökar risken för gängbrott föredras höga muttrar (typ 2) enligt ISO 8674. Omfattar M8 till M64 och innehåller både de föredragna och de icke föredragna gängorna.
