內六角軸肩螺釘，性能等級12.9，規格由依f9公差研磨、比螺紋更粗的軸肩決定，而 ISO 4762 螺釘的規格由螺紋決定。這種螺釘同時是定位銷與緊固件：軸肩在孔中轉動並承受剪力，而其下方比軸肩小一個規格的螺紋只負責把接合鎖緊；連桿與槓桿的樞軸、脫料板的導引以及治具和模具的運動件都靠這段軸肩。一個規格就是標準標示所寫的 ds × l 組合。軸肩直徑帶來整支螺釘——螺紋（軸肩6,5 mm配M5，直到軸肩25 mm配M20）、頭部直徑dk、頭部高度k、對邊尺寸s、內六角深度t與螺紋長度b，而軸肩長度說明這支螺釘能定位多厚的工件。螺紋長度不像圓柱頭螺釘那樣隨長度變化：標準依軸肩直徑逐一給定，因為螺紋只是把已貼合的軸肩壓住。涵蓋軸肩直徑6,5至25 mm、軸肩長度10至120 mm；兩個最小的軸肩分別止於40 mm與50 mm。頭部可為光頭或滾花頭，表中給出兩個頭部直徑僅因如此；軸肩長度的公差為公稱尺寸至公稱尺寸+0,25 mm。由於形狀所限，該螺釘無法進行拉伸試驗，但滿足12.9級的其餘所有要求。1983年第一版至今仍然有效。
