DIN 1444 B - Clevis pins with head, form B with split pin hole

Outdated standard

Withdrawn German standard for clevis pins with head, form B, made with a cross drilled split pin hole near the free end. The 1974 edition took over the dimensions of ISO 2341:1972 and was replaced by DIN EN 22341:1992-10, the German adoption of ISO 2341. The pin is secured with a cotter pin, so the hole diameter equals the nominal size of the split pin; head, shank and hole are those of ISO 2341 type B, so only the row of nominal lengths tells the two apart: DIN 1444 keeps 25, 105, 110, 115, 125, 130, 150, 170 and 190 mm and knows no 24, 26 and 32 mm. Kept for old drawings; new designs use ISO 2341 type B.
