ISO 4033

ISO 4033

ISO 4033 - Hexagon high nuts (style 2), product grades A and B

Hexagon high nuts, style 2, product grade A for threads up to and including M16 and product grade B above. The high (style 2) counterpart of the regular ISO 4032 nut: for a given diameter the hexagon body is identical and only the height is greater, which increases thread engagement and stripping resistance. Covers metric coarse pitch from M5 to M39 and includes both the preferred threads and the non-preferred threads M7, M14, M18, M22, M27, M33 and M39.

ISO 4034 - Hexagon regular nuts (style 1), product grade C

Hexagon regular nuts, style 1, product grade C. The coarse tolerance counterpart of the regular ISO 4032 nut: for a given diameter the nominal width across flats is the same, but the tolerances are wider and the maximum height is greater. Intended for general purpose assemblies where appearance and precision are not critical. Covers metric coarse pitch from M5 to M64 and includes both the preferred threads and the non-preferred threads M14, M18, M22, M27, M33, M39, M45, M52 and M60.

ISO 4035

ISO 4035

ISO 4035 - Hexagon thin nuts chamfered (style 0), product grades A and B

Hexagon thin nuts, chamfered, style 0, product grade A for threads up to and including M16 and product grade B above. The low counterpart of the regular ISO 4032 nut: for a given diameter the hexagon body is identical and only the height is about half, which suits lock (jam) nuts and joints with limited axial space. Because the reduced height lowers the load the nut can carry, thin nuts are not rated for full strength. Current replacement for DIN 439. Covers metric coarse pitch from M1.6 to M64 and includes both the preferred threads and the non-preferred threads M3.5, M14, M18, M22, M27, M33, M39, M45, M52 and M60.

ISO 8673

ISO 8673

Nut: hex · Products: 24

ISO 8673 - Hexagon regular nuts (style 1) with metric fine pitch thread, product grades A and B

Hexagon regular nuts, style 1, with metric fine pitch thread, product grade A for threads up to and including M16 and product grade B above. The fine pitch counterpart of ISO 4032: for a given diameter the hexagon body is identical and only the thread differs. Because the reduced thread height raises the risk of stripping, high nuts (style 2) to ISO 8674 are preferred. Covers M8 to M64 and includes both the preferred threads and the non-preferred threads.

ISO 8674

ISO 8674

Nut: hex · Products: 19

ISO 8674 - Hexagon high nuts (style 2) with metric fine pitch thread, product grades A and B

Hexagon high nuts, style 2, with metric fine pitch thread, product grade A for threads up to and including M16 and product grade B above. The fine pitch counterpart of the high (style 2) ISO 4033 nut: for a given diameter the hexagon body and height are identical and only the thread differs. The extra height over the regular ISO 8673 nut gives more thread engagement and better stripping resistance, which is why style 2 is preferred for fine pitch threads. Covers M8 to M39 and includes both the preferred threads and the non-preferred threads.

DIN 934

DIN 934

Nut: hex · Products: 69

DIN 934 - Hexagon nuts with metric coarse and fine pitch thread

Hexagon nuts with metric coarse and fine pitch thread, product grades A and B. Superseded by ISO 4032, but the dimensions are not identical: ISO 4032 revises the width across flats of M10, M12, M14 and M22 and raises the height of most sizes. Off the shelf parts are still commonly supplied to this older specification. Both bearing faces are chamfered; the washer face form is a separate order option.
